《Lover》新專輯的第一首歌「 I Forgot That You Existed」，認真邊聽邊看歌詞後，終於get到為何這首歌要擺在專輯第一首。
（個人淺見） 我覺得這是Taylor在正式宣告 「過去的鳥事 Bye～」
也是正式和上一張專輯 Reputation 做個分界線，因為以前遇到的糟糕人事物，老娘早就把你們都忘光了哈哈哈哈哈哈！
我看到有人認為這是寫給 Calvin Harris ???? 確實是蠻有可能的，
但主要副歌（Chorus）應該是在指過去的鳥事（不管是Calvin.Kanye之類的），
整首歌像是在說「我們以前關係很好，但我看透了，所以我把你們忘光，我也根本不在意了」
以下翻譯我不太想帶到戀愛類字眼，因為我覺得這不只是在寫分手後的戀愛關係。

真的很喜歡這類反諷的歌詞???? 就像上一張專輯的This is why we can’t have nice things
其實我覺得這首歌應該也是在reputation時期寫的 (吧）
只是編曲編排和樂器使用不同，因為我總感覺詞曲風格蠻像的????
但把I Forgot That You Existed拿到新專輯，並放在第一首歌，是一個很棒的選擇！
代表著 NEW ERA 新的開始！過去的事情 Taylor 早就不在意了～
